Propose a Program

The CDOC does work with outside agencies to bring in services, training, and education.

If you are interested in bringing your program to CDOC, you will need to submit an initial proposal form. 

Please attached a curriculum with your proposal for the review committee. This form with curriculum must be sent to doc_education@state.co.us(opens in new window)(opens in new window)

Proposals will be reviewed on an annual basis. Any Proposals for FY26 need to be submitted by February 15,2025.

Colorado State Board of Parole

The Colorado State Board of Parole is given the sole authority to grant or deny discretionary parole to incarcerated persons in Colorado Department of Corrections custody. 

 

The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) has safely and swiftly completed the evacuation of all 179 incarcerated individuals assigned to Rifle Correctional Center. This measure was taken out of an abundance of caution in response to the Lee Fire in Rio Blanco County. At this time, there are no reports of injuries to staff or incarcerated individuals.
The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) has begun evacuating 179 individuals in custody from Rifle Correctional Center (RCC) in response to the rapidly evolving Lee Fire in Rio Blanco County. At this time, there are no reports of injuries to staff or incarcerated individuals.
